ONSLOW COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – The Onslow County Republican Celebration has made its suggestion to fill the vacant Onslow County Board of Commissioners seat.
WITN is informed that their suggestion is Mark Worth, who served as a commissioner from 2016 to 2020.
Worth didn’t file for re-election to the board however as an alternative made an unsuccessful bid for his celebration’s nomination for a seat within the state Home.
Then, when a commissioner seat opened up with the departure of William Shanahan, Worth stuffed the seat.
Worth misplaced within the 2022 main to retain his seat on the board.
A particular assembly is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 10 a.m. for the board to log out on Worth.
