NMAAHC Appoints Caribbean American Affiliate Director for Exterior Affairs – South Florida Caribbean Information

WASHINGTON, DC – Denise Robinson Simms was appointed as Affiliate Director of Exterior Affairs of the Smithsonian Establishment National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC).

Born in Maryland, Denise is a baby of immigrants from Trinidad & Tobago and Barbados. Denise joined the employees of the NMAAHC as Supervisor of Particular Occasions in February 2016, simply seven months earlier than the historic grand opening occasions of the Smithsonian Establishment’s nineteenth Museum.
