Miami-Dade Honoring First Responders, Healthcare Staff With ‘Hometown Heroes Parade' – NBC 6 South Florida
Members of the healthcare group, first responders, and regulation enforcement who risked their lives to serve and shield in the course of the COVID-19 pandemic are being honored Sunday in Miami-Dade County.
The county held a Hometown Heroes Parade and Household Enjoyable Fest beginning at 11 a.m. on the Intercontinental Resort and ending on the FTX Enviornment. Individuals are inspired to attend the pageant, which runs till 6 p.m. and options free actions, meals vehicles, stay music, and extra.
“That is so wonderful, everybody locally is becoming a member of us to say thanks for every little thing that was accomplished. The sacrifices, our firefighters, cops, healthcare staff, they made so many sacrifices each day to maintain us protected,” Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine-Cava mentioned.
The occasion was created by the Miami-Dade County Fee’s approval of a measure sponsored by commissioners Danielle Cohen Higgins and Oliver Gilbert.
“That is very humbling, you understand. We’re not all about that, we’re at all times targeted on serving and we acquired our heads within the sport on a regular basis. To see this love, actually, man, it actually touches the center,” Miami-Dade Police Director, Freddy Ramirez mentioned.
